RE: Summer Institute 2010 - Call for Papers
I am are organizing a "Political Economy Public Finance" workshop as a part
of the NBER Summer Institute. This cross-field workshop will focus on broad
issues of the effect of political economy on government policies, such as
taxation, social insurance, monetary policy, regulations, etc. The workshop
will be held on Friday, July 23, right before the traditional Public
Economics week but also adjacent to Political Economy and a number of macro
meetings. We are hoping to bring together researchers from all those
disciplines interested in the interaction of political economy and economic
policy.
