RA-FRF Meetings - please respond

Hi Everyone-

Huge thanks to Chris Knittel and Reed Walker for putting together a great
program <http://conference.nber.org/sched/SI20EEE> and navigating the
complexities of running a virtual meeting. I miss seeing you in person in
Cambridge, but it's been fun to see the papers so far.

To partially substitute for the hallway chats we could all have at the
breaks, I'd like to arrange meetings between RAs and FRFs. Here's the plan:

- RA's who are willing to have 2 meetings (around 30 minutes each) with a
FRF should indicate their willingness to participate by replying to this
very quick survey. <https://forms.gle/YeTr3TNjXtFpQzLi7> (Don't worry about
whether you're formally an RA - if you have tenure, please feel free to
fill out the form.)
- I'll circulate the names of interested RAs to the FRFs, plus some non-FRF
junior colleagues, like the paper presenters, and ask people to rank their
top choices for meetings, including "anyone who is available" as one of the
choices.
- I'll randomly order the FRFs and go through until I've used up all the RA
meetings.
- I'll contact each RA-FRF dyad and suggest that you set up a mutually
agreeable time.

I know - it's not the same as chit-chatting over coffee in Cambridge, but
hopefully a decent substitute.

Please let me know if you have questions or suggestions.

Take care,
Catherine
