Dear Fellow NBER-EEE Members,

Many of you are familiar with REEP--the Review of Environmental Economics and Policy (reep.oxfordjournals.org). In fact, a number of you have published in the journal. The journal is modeled after the Journal of Economic Perspectives, but with an environment and resource economics bent. It is doing very well -- it is now ranked as the #7 economics journal overall in terms of journal impact factor.

We are writing to encourage members of the NBER Energy and Environmental Economics group to submit proposals for articles in REEP. Rather than accept full manuscripts for review, we accept brief proposals; if we think the proposal looks promising, we invite the preparation of a full manuscript (which goes through review, but with - at that stage - a high rate of acceptance).

So if you have an idea that you would like to develop into a paper -- something that you think would be broadly of interest to the academic and non-academic economics community, and in a broadly-accessible style consistent with articles in REEP and the JEP, let us know by sending an e-mail with your proposal to: reep_at_aere.org<mailto:reep_at_aere.org>.

We provide quick turnaround on decisions.
