Looking for a junior environmental or public finance economist

Dear Colleagues,

We are looking to hire two new assistants this year. My preference is for
an international person or someone in environmental/resources/energy, but
public finance is also of interest. The positions are officially open, but
these are my preferences.

We can offer a competitive salary, teaching release pre-tenure, a good
research environment with helpful senior people, and a great location (if
you ski or hike, but not surf). Our jobs (two) are in JOE, but if you have
someone who may be interested have them email me their package directly as
well as applying online through the department. I will make sure they
receive careful consideration.

Appointment at an associate is possible if someone you know is interested in
a lateral move. This would be much easier if the candidate could be joint
with our new School of Public Policy (headed by Jack Mintz) or joint with
our Institute for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Economy. Their
interests lie in either public finance or energy/environmental.

sincerely,

M. Scott Taylor
