Dear fellow EEE affiliates,
I know we all get bombarded by people asking to pass around job opening
announcements, particularly at this time of year. But mine is a
more limited request! UC Santa Barbara has two openings this year,
one in the Economics Department and one in the Bren School of
Environmental Management (a position that is defined somewhat more
broadly than economics). They are both listed in JOE.
There is a REAL interest in reaching people who have been out of school
for a few years -- perhaps in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an assistant
professorship -- and who might be interested in a move. The
positions are tenure-track, though untenured. So we are not looking
for people who need a tenured offer (unfortunately).
No need to forward this to PhD students who are reading JOE closely but
please do forward this message to people who have been out a few years
and may not be actively searching for a job.
These are great jobs and this is a great opportunity for ambitious
scholars:
