Dear EEE members:

The President of NBER meets once a year with each Program Director, during the Summer Institute, just to keep informed. Last year I met briefly with Marty, but the EEE program had only just begun. Now we have a year under our belts, and a new President. Jim Poterba seems particularly interested in learning about all the research undertaken within NBER, and will be asking me what you are doing. I'm always interested to hear your suggestions for the program, but now would be a good time to tell me mundane stuff as well. In particular, if you have any grant run through the NBER (even if primarily through another program), please send me a brief email with the title, amount, agency, and two sentence description of its goals. Thanks. Don
