Dear NBER Economics of Education group,

I am forwarding you an announcement about a post-doctoral position
likely to be interesting to someone interested in education in
developing countries. This would allow the person to build a research
portfolio before taking up a faculty position. Please get in touch
with Karthik Muralidharan if you have questions.

All good wishes,

Caroline Hoxby

Dear colleagues,

I am writing to share an exciting new opportunity that we are J-PAL

in Education, in which the successful candidate would have the chance
to work closely with J-PAL education co-chairs and Scientific
Directors to set a research agenda for education and human
development, and develop new projects that contribute to J-PAL's
evidence in education in India.

We are looking for candidates who have earned either a PhD in

PhD in Education with a focus on quantitative research methods. We are
encouraging candidates to apply by December 26th so that shortlisted
candidates can be interviewed at the American Economic Association

blurb and a link to the JD on the J-PAL Website. Please circulate this
opportunity to any PhD students you have that would be good candidates
for the position.

Thanks,

Karthik Muralidharan
