locations for upcoming program meetings

Dear Economics of Education Program members,

During the process of searching for a new President of the NBER
(congratulations to Jim Poterba!), we learned that some members of the
NBER preferred that program meetings be rotated among locations rather
than meeting routinely in Cambridge, MA. At least one program now
rotates among Cambridge, Palo Alto, and Chicago and a few programs
already rotate between Cambridge and Palo Alto. I would like to get
your advice on whether the Economics of Education meetings should be
rotated in the future. If you have an opinion, please let me know.
Since we will be setting the dates for the Fall program meeting very
soon, a fairly quick reply would be helpful.

All good wishes, Caroline Hoxby
