Dear NBER DEV members
I am writing to let you know that DEV will meet during the third week of the
Summer Institute again this year. Our meeting will be on Thursday and Friday
July 25/26. The call for papers will be distributed in the next few weeks.
Submissions will be due by the end of March. Nina Pavcnik and Mark Rosenzweig
will select the program with me. I hope you will submit your work and also plan
to attend the meeting.
Our Fall meeting will be on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October in Cambridge, MA.
A call for papers will be distributed in the summer.
I am pleased to report that the NBER papers in development series has been very
active: over 120 papers were added in 2013. The papers are listed at
http://nber.org/papersbyprog/DEV.html
I hope you will submit your papers to the series.
As you know, the NBER provides absolutely first rate support for grants. If you
are planning to submit a grant, I encourage you to consider using the NBER
services. Of course, if I can be of any assistance at any time, please let me
know.
