To All:
The DAE Summer Institute will be later next summer than usual because of
the World Congress in South Africa. I had previously announced that it
would be in the last week of the SI. But we have just been given the
opportunity of having our SI in the 3rd week -- July 23, 24, and 25.
Plus, we will be able to hold our SI at 1050 rather than at the Sonesta,
which would have been the case with the last week. We will be followed
on July 26 and 27 by a conference organized by Price Fishback on the
micro-economics of the Great Depression.
Please mark down on your calendars that the 2012 NBER-DAE Summer
Institute will be July 23, 24, 25 (with the special Great Depression
conference just following). The organizers will be Carolyn Moehling,
John Wallis, and Eugene White.
