To All DAE Family Members:
The DAE Summer Institute is almost upon us and the team of Leah Boustan,
Naomi Lamoreaux, and Paul Rhode deserve our gratitude for a great program.
I am asking for your help in my summary statement of DAE current and
future research activities, conferences planned, grants through the NBER,
and other research accomplishments. In my annual meeting with Jim I would
like to highlight the exciting and varied research that is being done by
economic historians.
At your earliest convenience please send me a brief (a few paragraphs)
statement about:
1. Your current and future research projects;
2. Any conference you have in mind that you have not told me about;
3. Any present or future grants you will be running through the NBER.
I already have your CV, so you should not send that. Also, please don't
use attachments. Just type (or cut and paste) a paragraph or more about
your research. I'll need to summarize everyone's work in my meeting with
Jim, so please be brief.
I hope to see you on July 6 at the DAE Summer Institute.
