To all members of the Development of the American Economy program:
Two new Faculty Research Fellows in our program have just been approved
and can join us for our Program Meeting and Summer Institute this year:
1. Elizabeth Cascio: Liz received her Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and is an
Assistant Professor at UC Davis. Her work has concerned K-12 education in
the 20th century and also the role of race.
2. Joseph Davis: Joe received his Ph.D. from Duke (and received the Nevins
award in 2002) and is currently working for Vanguard just outside
Philadelphia. He has worked closely with several members of the DAE and
is best known for his historical industrial production series (now
available on the NBER website).
