Research that has had an impact on policy

Dear Colleagues,

While the NBER does not make policy recommendations, and does not lobby on
behalf of economists, we are well positioned to highlight the important and
policy-relevant research that is being conducted by economists. If you
have work that has:

a) appeared in some NBER-related forum (like an NBER WP, conference, or
volume)
b) had a demonstrable impact on policy/public debate

I would greatly appreciate hearing about it. If you could send me both an
abstract and the evidence of its demonstrable impact, that would be
wonderful.

Thanks for your help.

Janet
