RE: Summer Institute 2011 Call for Papers

As part of the NBER's Summer Institute, the Program on Children will
be holding a meeting on July 28, 2011 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We
are interested in soliciting papers on issues around the economics of
children and children's well-being, including but not limited to
education production and outcomes; health care production and
outcomes for children; the implications of parental behavior for
youth outcomes; the impact of government redistributional programs on
children; issues in youth risk behavior, including substance abuse,
crime, and teen childbearing; the school to work transition; and
analyses of children's issues in developing country contexts.

The morning session will be joint with the Labor Studies group.

If you have a paper that you would like to present at the Program on
Children workshop, please upload a copy here:
http://www.nber.org/confsubmit/backend/cfp?id=SI11CH

If you think the paper would be suitable for a joint session with
Labor Studies, please also upload it
to: http://www.nber.org/confsubmit/backend/cfp?id=SI11LS

Please send all submissions by March 31, 2011.

If you have any questions, or need additional information, please
contact Rob in the NBER's conference department at 617/868-3900 or
