Dear NBER colleague,

Attached is the call for papers for the International Perspectives on
Time Use Conference to be held June 23-24, 2011 on the University of
Maryland campus in College Park, Maryland. The conference is
co-sponsored by the Maryland Population Research Center; the National
Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD); the Economic
Research Service; and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), Bonn,
Germany. The deadline for submission of paper proposals is January 15,
2011.

A three-day workshop for new time use researchers, to be held June
20-22, 2011 will precede the conference. Workshop participants will be
invited to attend the research conference and funding is available to
cover their travel costs. I hope you will forward the workshop flyer
to your graduate students or junior colleagues who may have an interest
in learning more about time use data and research. The deadline for
workshop applications is March 1, 2011.

Many thanks,

Katharine Abraham
