NBER: Position at the City University of New York Graduate Center

Subject: Position at the City University of New York Graduate Center
From: Grossman, Michael (MGrossman@gc.cuny.edu)
Date: Mon Dec 11 2006 - 14:37:44 EST

Below is an advertisement for a position at the City University of New
York (CUNY) Graduate Center that may interest you or your colleagues.
It was submitted too late to appear in the December 2006 issue of Job
Openings for Economists but will appear in the February 2007 issue of
that publication. It also will appear in the New York Times on Sunday,
December 17, 2006.

I have enjoyed teaching in the Ph.D. Program in Economics at the City
University of New York Graduate Center since my initial appointment in
September 1972. I particularly like the opportunity to interact with
Ph.D. candidates and to develop colleagues as part of these
interactions. The teaching load associated with the position below is
light, and the salary is competitive. The appointment will be
accompanied by an affiliation with the newly established CUNY Institute
for Demographic Research. The institute is located at Baruch College
School of Public Affairs. Neil Bennett, Professor of Sociology at
Baruch College and the Graduate Center and an NBER Research Associate in
the Health Economics Program is serving as Acting Director.

Feel free to forward this message to interested parties.
