NIH Funding Opportunity - Obesity Policy Evaluation Research

NIA has just re-issued a funding opportunity for obesity research,
described below. The next due date June 5, 2013.

Obesity Policy Evaluation Research (R01)

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), issued by the National
Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), the
National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), the National
Institute on Aging (NIA), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Eunice
Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human
Development (NICHD), and the Office of Behavioral and Scoial Sciences
Research (OBSSR) encourages Research Project Grant (R01) applications
that propose to evaluate large scale policy or programs that are
expected to influence obesity related behaviors (e.g., dietary
intake, physical activity, or sedentary behavior) and/or weight
outcomes in an effort to prevent or reduce obesity.
