To Members of NBER's Children's Program,

Here is a new funding opportunity from NIH that seems well-suited to
researchers in NBER's Program on Children. As you may know, grants from
NIH often support substantial research efforts for as many as five years,
so they allow you to request funds for a large-scale project. If you would
like to discuss possible research topics, please contact Jon Gruber. If
you would like to learn more about what is involved in preparing an NIH
proposal and how we can help, please feel free to give me a call. (The
next deadline is February 1). Besides answering any questions about the
grant requirements, I can send you samples of successful past proposals
from the Children's Program.
