Call for Papers - NBER Meeting on Commodities Markets

Dear Colleagues -

This fall, the NBER will host the first of two meetings on "The
Economics of Commodity Markets." Ken Singleton and Wei Xiong will serve
as the organizers. We hope that the meetings will cut across various
sub-fields within economics, drawing together insights from financial
economics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, industrial organization,
international trade, and other fields. A call for papers is attached.
I hope that you will contact Ken and Wei if you have work in progress
that might be suitable for this meeting, and that you will pass this
call along to others who might be interested in this research area.
