M E M O R A N D U M TO: Asset Pricing Program Members and Invitees FROM: Jacob Boudoukh and Jiang Wang, Organizers DATE: October 4, 2000 RE: Asset Pricing Program Meeting, November 3, 2000 様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様様 We would like to invite you to participate in the NBER's Fall Asset Pricing Program Meeting scheduled to be held on November 3, 2000 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, 5 Cambridge Parkway, Cambridge, MA, on Friday, November 3, 2000. The preliminary program is enclosed. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, the NBER can only reimburse domestic travel and hotel expenses in accordance to the NBER travel guidelines for two authors per paper. The NBER will pay for all discussants. There will be a group dinner on Thursday, November 4, the time and location to be announced. For out-of-town participants traveling to the meeting, hotel reservations will be made as requested at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, 5 Cambridge Parkway, Cambridge, 617/806- 4200 phone. The NBER will pay room charges plus tax for ONE NIGHT. If you wish to stay additional nights the rate is $172.00 single or double plus 12.45% tax per night. If you do not show up at the hotel, and do not call either us or the hotel to cancel your reservations, you will be charged one night's rate as a no-show. Please fill out the enclosed reply form and return it to me at your earliest convenience in the envelope provided. You may also fax your reply to us at 617/864-1825. In order to ensure space at the hotel we need your reply forms by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5. Out-of-town participants are urged to book their flight as soon as possible in order to qualify for discounted fares. Due to budget constraints, the Bureau is only able to pay for Domestic SuperSaver air fares or other deeply discounted fares. For your convenience, we established a master account with American Express Travel in Cambridge, 1-800/964-7409 or 617/661-0008. Travel expense reports will be made available at the conference. PLEASE NOTE: Authors should have their papers to me by October 20, in order to be included in the paper mailing.
