Dear NBER Colleagues -

I hope that you will join me in congratulating Matteo Maggiori, who
was recently named the 2021 recipient of the American Finance
Association's Fischer Black Prize.  The prize honors the person under
the age of 40 whose work best exemplifies Fischer Black's
practice-relevant research in financial economics.  Matteo's work has
ranged widely, and includes studies of long-run discount rates, exchange
rate dynamics, international capital flows, and the role of tax havens.
More details may be found in the AFA's prize announcement here:

Matteo is an associate professor at the Stanford Graduate School of
Business, and a Research Associate in the NBER's Asset Pricing, Economic
Fluctuations and Growth, and International Finance and Macroeconomics
programs.

     All best wishes.
