Dear AP members,
I am happy to announce that we have several new members: Marcin Kacperczyk (NYU) Ian Martin (Stanford), and Adrian Verdelhan (Boston University) have joined as Faculty Research Fellows. Neng Wang (Columbia) was promoted from Faculty Research Fellow to Research Associate. Harrison Hong (Princeton) and Jeff Wurgler (NYU) have joined as Research Associates. Moreover, Janice Eberly (Northwestern, who is a member of the EFG program) and Clemens Sialm (University of Texas at Austin, who is a member of the PE program) are now cross-listed with our group.
Please hold the date for our fall AP meeting: November 13, 2009 at Stanford. The meeting will be organized by Leonid Kogan and Jiang Wang.
As in past years, we will again have a limited number of slots for PhD students to attend the Summer Institute. If you would like to nominate your PhD student, please send me his/her name & email address by ***May 15, 2008***. Like all other SI conference participants, the students will need an official invitation.
Also, students (like other non-members) will need to cover their own travel & hotel costs. Please help your student to obtain the necessary funds.
