We are currently writing a book on asset allocation for long-term investors
for Oxford University Press. This book is mostly (but not exclusively)
based on our joint research on portfolio choice with time-varying
investment opportunities. The idea for this book dates to 1999, when John
delivered the Clarendon Lectures at Oxford.
We have just made available on our websites the first five out of seven
chapters. We decided not to send you this draft as a PDF attachment to this
e-mail because of the large size of the file. Instead we would suggest that
