To members of NBER's programs on Aging and Health Care:

As a follow-up to our recent notices about NBER's Fellowship Programs in
Aging and Health Research, I'm writing to clarify that we welcome
applications from junior faculty. The program, with funding from the
National Institute on Aging and NBER, is an excellent opportunity for
junior faculty to visit NBER’s Cambridge office for one year of
intensive research and to interact with our large network of prominent
investigators in Aging and Health.

The fellowship offers a 12-month stipend of $80,000 to $92,500
(depending on years of experience), reimbursement for health insurance,
limited research expenses, and an office at the NBER’s Cambridge
headquarters.

While fellowship-related activities are expected to represent the
primary responsibility during the year, junior faculty members may
combine this fellowship with an early career leave or other non-federal
funding.

For more information, please visit
https://www.nber.org/callforpapers/PostDocAHE.html

We are accepting applications through JOE until December 9th.
Candidates who are already faculty members may submit 1 recommendation
letter (rather than 3).

If you have questions about eligibility, application requirements, or
other aspects of the program, please don't hesitate to ask or to
encourage potential candidates to contact me directly.

Thanks,
Janet
