Dear Research Colleagues -

I am writing to call your attention to the competition for this
year's TIAA Paul A. Samuelson Prize. The prize honors Samuelson, the
first American to win the Nobel Prize in economics and a former trustee
of the College Retirement Equity Fund, whose research touched on many
aspects of financial markets, consumer behavior, and financial
security. It includes a $10,000 cash award. The prize will be
presented at the annual meeting of the Allied Social Science Association
in Chicago in January 2017.

Submissions may be theoretical or empirical in nature, but must
cover a subject directly relevant to lifelong financial security. The
research must be in a book or article form and must have been published
between June 30, 2014 and June 30, 2016. Submissions must be postmarked
by September 11, 2016.

Further information on submitting an entry may be found at:
https://www.tiaainstitute.org/public/institute/awards/samuelson

I hope that this is of interest.
