Please see below (and attachment) for a dissertation fellowship opportunity
for your students. The primary purpose of the fellowship is to provide time
and resources for independent research that will deepen our understanding
of the health and economic implications of disability and disability
policy. Fellows work at their home university, under the supervision of
their dissertation advisor.


The fellowships provide a 12-month stipend of $22,920 as well as tuition
support, up to a limit of $12,000 per year plus health insurance, and
limited funds for travel and research expenses.



NBER encourages applications from individuals from under-represented racial
