Call for Proposals
The Pension Research Council at the University of Pennsylvania and the TIAA-CREF Institute are pleased to announce Phase 2 of their competition to support research projects to promote high-quality and innovative research on financial well-being, retirement planning, and organizational success for institutions and employees in the educational, non-profit and public sectors.

Grant funds are intended to provide support for innovative and topical research projects that could merit significant policy attention. Priority topics include:
* The role of lifetime income in retirement security;
* Whether and how deferred annuities might insure against Social Security and Medicare reform
* Costs and benefits of financial education and advice;
* Improved retirement plan design;
* Impacts of financing and provisions of retiree health care;
* Retirement security policy in an era of tight government budgets;
* Innovative retirement product design to meet the needs of an aging population.
Grant proposals are due Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m. EST. See the attached document for further information. Please submit all proposal materials in one file as an e-mail attachment to:
