Subject: New announcements from NIH Health Economics initiative

Mike:

The NIH Common Fund program for Health Economics published to announcements today...one soliciting R01 applications on economics of long-term care, and one for R21 applications on adoption of results of effectiveness research:

http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-11-002.html

http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-11-001.html

As RFAs, these have set-aside money and ad hoc review panels. My colleague Colin Baker is listed as the contact for letters of intent, but these are NIH-wide initiatives, so there is no presumption that aging is going to be the theme.

These are the two latest announcements from the multi-year Common Fund initiative in Health Economics:

As always, we'd welcome your help in calling the attention of your NBER associates to them!

Best - John Haaga
