SIPP training workshops

Dear Members of the Aging Program:

The University of Michigan will host both introductory and advanced
workshops on "Conducting Research Using the Survey of Income and Program
Participation(SIPP)" this summer, June 23-27, 2014. The basic workshop
will introduce participants to the use of micro-data from the Survey of
Income and Program Participation (SIPP). The advanced workshop will
introduce participants to the use of the SIPP Synthetic
Beta (SSB). Both workshops will provide hands-­on applications to
prepare participants to conduct their own SIPP or SSB-­based research.
