Dear NBER Researchers -

I hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving!  I am writing to ask for
your feedback on the redesign of the NBER website.  The current site is
dated and lacks modern functionality, and NBER has hired a web design
firm to redo it in order to make working papers, publications like the
Digest and Reporter, and conference presentations more available and
more useful to our users.  The firm is collecting input about both the
"look and feel" that would be appropriate for a redesigned NBER site,
and about how users respond to various navigation options. It has
created a short survey, which should take no more than 20 minutes to
complete.  I would like to invite you to provide your input on the
redesign by responding to the survey:

Responses are anonymous, although the survey requests an email address
so that respondents can be entered into a drawing for a number of $25
gift cards.  The survey has a short timeline and will close on Thursday
of this week.

Thank you for your assistance, and all best wishes.

Jim Poterba
