Wesley Clair Mitchell Research Professorship in Economics

2012-2013 Academic Year

Columbia University is looking for candidates for the Wesley Clair Mitchell Research Professorship in Economics. The rotating position is open to any Ph.D. economist who currently holds a full-time position at a university or research institute, and provides the opportunity to pursue research in any area of economics while on leave from the home institution. The Mitchell Professor is expected to be in residence at Columbia University during the term of the appointment. While not required to teach or perform other university duties, the Mitchell Professor is encouraged to offer a graduate level course in his or her area of specialization in the interest of promoting the interchange of ideas. Interested candidates should contact a faculty member of the Economics Department by September 15, 2011.
