The editors of The Forum for Health Economics and Health Policy
((http://www.bepress.com/fhep/) seek nominations for the Victor Fuchs
Research Award.
Sponsored by RAND, this $10,000 prize is awarded to the authors of a
paper with the potential to spawn new research in an underdeveloped area
of health economics. The award is named in honor of Victor Fuchs, a
member of the editorial board whose research demonstrated that economic
analysis yielded valuable insight not only about medical resource use
but also health.
Submission Instructions: Please submit one electronic copy of the
manuscript by March 1, 2009 to Angie Tibbitts (tibbitts_at_rand.org).
Decisions will be made by members of The Forum's editorial board and
will be based on the quality of the paper and its ability to spawn new
research in an underdeveloped research area of social importance.
Authors of the winning paper must agree to submit their manuscript for
publication in The Forum.
