Dear Staff Colleagues,
After many years of dedicated service to the NBER, Tracei Gamble
has decided to pursue other opportunities. Next Tuesday, October 11,
will be her last day. Please join me in thanking Tracei for managing a
critical part of the NBER's accounting function -- our accounts payable
system. Nearly all of the NBER affiliates and many others have
benefited from her efficiency and attention to detail. Tracei has
requested that in lieu of a going-away party, the NBER make a
contribution to the ALS Foundation.
After next Tuesday, please send payment requests to
accountspayable_at_nber.org, rather than to Tracei's email address.
Various members of our accounting team will process submissions to that
email account until we hire a new staff member who will oversee the
accounts payable function.
