Dear Staff Colleagues -
I hope that after another extraordinary year, when so many of you
have gone above and beyond your usual responsibilities to advance the
NBER's mission and to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the
pandemic, you will be able to enjoy a restful, safe, and happy holiday
season. Please accept my very best wishes at this special time of
year. I hope that even if 2022 begins on a challenging note, the new
year will also bring the time when we move beyond pandemic-related
disruptions.
We will not have a staff meeting today (December 22) or next
Wednesday (December 29). I look forward to seeing you again on the
first Wednesday of 2022. All best wishes!
