Dear Staff Colleagues -
I look forward to seeing you at our holiday party. I am very
grateful to Carl, David, Kevin, and Rob, who have played key roles in
making the party possible.
We'll meet on Zoom at 11am, but without our usual work agenda. I
will make a few remarks to acknowledge Carl and Denis, who celebrated
their 20th anniversaries at the NBER this year, and also to describe the
charitable gifts that we have made to local service organizations in

The Gather space will have four "rooms," each with a different
activity: Pictionary, Trivia, Puzzles, and a socializing and
conversation. I hope that Susan will reprise her role as Pictionary
coordinator, and the Debby will lead our "Trivia: The Sequel"
discussion. We will need a volunteer to organize the Puzzles room.
David has configured our space with a piano in one room; anyone ready to
learn to play in Zoom?
