If you must set a vacation reply, please visit

   www.nber.org/user-setup

to do so. You will be asked for your login and password. I omit the
https:// so that your email client will not make this a hot link, forcing
you to type the address in the browser address bar. This is to avoid
making this message look like phishing. Recall that malfactors can
register a domain name that looks exactly like www.nber.org but in a
non-latin alphabet, so staring at the URL won't ensure it goes to our
website.
