Dear Staff Colleagues -

     I am writing to invite you to attend this year's Martin Feldstein
Lecture, which will be presented by Lawrence Summers at 4:30pm on
Wednesday July 24 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Larry, who is the Charles
Eliot University Professor at Harvard, the former Secretary of the
Treasury, and an NBER Research Associate of long standing, will speak on
"Economic Possibilities for Our Children." His lecture will be followed
by a reception.

     I hope that you will be able to join me and many of the Summer
Institute participants for what I know will be an interesting talk.
There is no need to RSVP. All best wishes.
