Thank you for your patience earlier today relative to an unpleasant odor
that permeated the building. The odor originated while clearing a kitchen
drain on an upper floor. The Fire Department and Boston Water Sewer
arrived on-site and recommended that we run water wherever possible to
flush out the drain line. The Fire Department’s readings did not reveal
any unsafe conditions, and we will run the HVAC system as long as necessary
to abate the odor.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience this caused you and your
employees as we are aware that many found the smell offensive and could not
work in the building.

Should you have any additional questions regarding the incident, please
feel free to contact me.
