[NBER-1050]: New Building Face Mask Protocol

Dear staff, researchers, and research assistants,

Effective Monday, March 14, masks will be optional only in the building's
common areas, which include the lobby, elevators, and stairwells.

Until further notice, masks must still be worn while in NBER space.

Good Afternoon:



The City of Cambridge announced on February 23, 2022 that due to the
sustained improvement to the City’s COVID-19 metrics over the past month,
Cambridge will lift its mask requirement for indoor public places effective
at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022. A link to the full announcement

Effective Monday, March 14, 2022, 1050 Mass. Avenue, following the
guidelines and restrictions as outlined by the City of Cambridge and State
of Massachusetts, *will not require masks in the common areas of the
property. *



This change in protocol applies to the common areas only. If any tenant
choses to require masks to be worn within their leased premises, please
keep the appropriate signage posted on the entrance to your space. All
Lincoln Property Company staff and service providers will wear masks as
required by each tenant.
